For Clay’s birthday, there was no fancy dinner request or big day out.
He wanted Rec Lab.
So off we went to Wembley for an hour of hot, cold, steam, sauna and switching off from everything else.
The cold plunge was ICY cold. The warm pool was gloriously hot. The steam room steamed. The sauna sauna’d.
And somehow it was exactly what we needed.
Rec Lab is a dedicated recovery and wellness centre in Wembley built around recovery, vitality and community, with hot and cold plunge pools, sauna, steam room and other recovery experiences.
Our verdict?
Sometimes the best date isn’t dinner and drinks.
Sometimes it’s freezing together, sweating together and walking out feeling completely reset.
